Through the Project, CEP was able to establish branches in Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Long An, and Tien Giang provinces. The project provides capital for branch establishment and initial operating capital. The project provides loan products to increase income for the project’s target customers who are the working poor.
Non-Credit Program Development 2007 – 2008
The Ford Foundation sponsors CEP to implement the Project to develop a tailored non-credit program to complement and enhance the impact of the CEP microfinance program. In particular, the project has allowed CEP to develop a number of training modules on health education for clients and build staff capacity to implement the program.
